LILO

-=+=-
This week I am drawing Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. This one will be colored unlike the last. The materials you need are markers, pencils, and paper.
-=+=-
Step 1: Draw the outline of the face and hair. Draw the two arms going in the same direction, with two leafy things (sorry I don't know what they're called). Draw the outlines to the facial features.
-=+=-
Step 2: Finish the facial features. Draw her belly and the crop top that she always wears. Draw the hair next.
-=+=-
Step 3: Draw the outline of her skirt. Make her leaf crown an try to make it overlap the actual hair.
-=+=-
Step 4: Finish the skirt. It's a leaf skirt so make sure to make it green. Draw the feet at the bottom with leafy things on the bottom.

MANDALA

-=+=-
This week I am drawing a simplified version of a mandala. When showing this to my friends ahead of time, they laughed at me and didn't think it was simple at all. Well, if you've ever seen a mandala trust me this one's simple.
-=+=-
Step 1: Draw a flower in the center of the paper. Outline the flower, and shade the in between area. Outline that and then draw four dots in each somewhat corner.
-=+=-
Step 2: Draw eight flowers. Make every other one different, but each second one the same (see picture for reference). Draw a small simple design in the petals. Draw five dots in between the petals.
-=+=-
Step 3: Draw an outline to the dots. Draw even more petals all around the mandala. Double the layers on the petals, see pictures for reference.
-=+=-
PS) There is no step 4 and sorry that the explanation is awful, make sure to keep looking at the pictures.

SHOW ME YOUR ART

-=+=-
Hey guys, for those of you who read my blog every week, looking at the drawings, this is for you.
-=+=-
I want you to try one of the drawings and send it to me. Please do this via the comment section. I would love to see some of your work. :)
-=+=-
You can even just send in one of your own drawings, and I will do my best to recreate it for a future blog if you like. Get creative. Put your own twist on my drawings. If you know me personally, just text them to me. I might be putting up my favorite one. You have until next week.
-=+=-
I know a lot of you might not participate, but I'm hoping some of you do.
-=+=-
PS My next blog will have a poll in it, because I am entering an art show and I need some help on deciding which painting to enter. Thanks for the upcoming help. :)

MATERIAL RANT

-=+=-
This week instead of showing you how to draw something I will be talking about the materials I use, since many people have been asking about it. :) I would prefer no to show pictures of each material, sorry :((.
-=+=-
I have my own sketchbook and the paper inside is much thicker and a bit easier than regular printer paper. (in my opinion) to draw on based on the thickness.
-=+=-
I only use size 2B pencils because they aren't too dark, but still pretty dark when in use. :) I also use charcoal pencils because I find it really cool the way it looks like when you shade something in with them.
-=+=-
Unlike most people, instead of Copic markers I use Prismacolor. Mainly due to the fact that they are much cheaper (still pretty expensive though) and because I feel that they work better within smaller areas and that they seem like pens.
-=+=-
The colored pencils that I use (don't judge ;) ) are just normal thin crayola ones, because I feel as if I would be betraying my childhood if I didn't.
-=+=-
All in all, the materials that I use aren't too expensive, or super fancy, but they are very good quality and work like a charm :). I am in no way trying to influence people to get these materials, but trust me you won't be sorry if you do.

PS) Since there's no drawing this week, next week there might be two (or an extra detailed one).

TIGGER

-=+=-
This week I am drawing Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. The materials you need are pens, a pencil, and paper.
-=+=-
Step 1: First draw the head. Add all the little details like whiskers and spots. Make sure to tilt the head because the body will be a bit tilted too.
-=+=-
Step 2: Draw the hands. Have one hand right under the neck, while making it longer. The other hand should be on the bottom lying there, since he is a disney character draw him thumbs personifying him. Keep drawing patches along the way.
-=+=-
Step 3:Draw the rest of the body except for the tail. Only draw three legs since the fourth isn't visible in the position he is in.
-=+=-
Step 4: Draw the tail with a butterfly. Since the head was originally tilted it looks like he is staring at the butterfly :)

MILEY CYRUS

-=+=-
For those of you who follow me on social media, you got a sneak peak on this weeks' drawing. This week I am drawing Miley Cyrus (or attempting to). The materials you need are the same as last week. I am apologizing in advance that the pictures are a bit wonky since I did this on the go instead of in my usual area.
-=+=-
Step 1: First, let's draw the outline of her face and the ear. She has a double piercing so draw two earrings. At the right side of the face start the hair line.
-=+=-
Step 2: Draw the nose, make it a bit scrunched up. I made an outline for the eyes to mark where they should be but you don't have to. Draw the mouth and have the tongue sticking out the side. Make a little skin mark between the nose and the mouth.
-=+=-
Step 3: Make the eyes and the eyebrows a little scrunched up like the nose. Start the rest of the hair but only the side.
-=+=-
Step 4: Finish the haircut to the side. Shade everything in before you color to give it more texture.

 _______________-=+=-________________
P.S. I didn't color the skin because I couldn't find a good shade for it

SIMBA THE LION

-=+=-
This week I am drawing Simba from the Lion King. The materials you need are paper, pencils, and markers if you wish to recreate the colored version as well. Starting next week I will start changing things up and only be drawing things due to requests so be sure to request.
-=+=-
Step 1: The outline of the face. Simba has more of a squarish head. Make his ears of the sides of his head and start the mouth. Make sure to emphasize his fur in certain areas.
-=+=-
Step 2: Finish the face. Add in the eyes and the whiskers. Start the body. Add fur in the middle of it. Curve the beginning of his leg.
-=+=-
Step 3: Shade the ears and continue the body. Draw most of the three legs and leave room for the fourth one. Draw in the stomach. Make sure to curve all the legs.
-=+=-
Step 4: Draw in the edge of the other foot. Draw in the tail and the fur at the tip. Draw in the toes, I only did four but you can do five if you wish.

 _______________-=+=-________________
P.S. I chose a shade darker than I should've so it might look extra tan. Sorry.
